Aeonium arboreum 'Chanel'

Aeonium 'Chanel' is a cultivar with vivid foliage displaying deep burgundy to near-black central tones and bright red margins, creating a striking colour contrast. The rosettes are broad and symmetrical, with spoon-shaped leaves that intensify in red colouring when grown in full sun or during cooler weather. Seasonal changes can enhance the vibrancy, giving a dramatic flush of colour during winter and spring. Mature rosettes produce tall conical clusters of small yellow star-shaped flowers, after which the flowering rosette dies back while offsets continue to grow and develop.

Care Tips:

• Light - Position in bright light to full sun to bring out the strongest red and burgundy tones.
• Water - Water moderately during the growing season and reduce during summer dormancy when rosettes close and growth slows.
• Humidity - Tolerates low humidity well but benefits from good airflow.
