Cleistocactus winteri subsp. aureispina cristata

The cristate form (Cleistocactus winteri subsp. aureispina f. cristata) is a rare and highly sought-after cactus, forming twisting, fan-like crests covered with soft golden spines. Unlike the normal trailing form, this variety develops a sculptural mound of contorted growth. Very hardy and slow-growing. This plant will be sent bare-rooted (without soil) for safe shipping.
