Echeveria 'Gold Rosa'

Echeveria 'Gold Rosa'

A hybrid import from Korea, Echeveria 'Gold Rosa' forms neat, symmetrical rosettes with powdery blue-green leaves tipped pink. Grows compactly and produces occasional offsets as it matures. Excellent colour contrast and tidy habit make it a standout in any succulent collection.

Care

  • Light: Bright light to full sun. Best colour develops with good light and cooler nights.
  • Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the mix to dry. Avoid overwatering in cool weather. Plants can survive extended dry periods but grow best with occasional deep watering.
  • Media: Free-draining succulent mix with added coarse sand or perlite.
  • Temperature: Protect from frost; ideal above 7 °C.
  • Feeding: Apply a 25%-strength liquid fertiliser every few months during active growth.
  • Handling: Farina (the powdery coating) can mark easily-handle by the pot or leaf base.
  • Repotting: Can be repotted during warmer months once it outgrows its pot.

Key Characteristics

  • Rosette size: 8-12 cm (mature)
  • Leaf: Blue-green with heavy farina and pink-red tips
  • Habit: Compact; may form offsets with age
  • Flower: Pink-orange bells on arching scapes; usually late winter-spring
  • Propagation: Leaf cuttings, offsets, or beheading

Note: Decorative or slip pots shown in photos are for display purposes only and are not included with the plant.
