Macodes petola 'Dark Form'

Macodes petola ‘Dark Form’ is a jewel orchid grown for its striking foliage, with velvety, near-black to deep green leaves traced by fine, golden veining. The darker leaf background gives this form stronger contrast and a more dramatic appearance than standard forms.

This is a terrestrial orchid well suited to indoor growing, terrariums, and warm, shaded positions with consistently high humidity. While botanically an orchid, it behaves as a forest-floor plant and should be treated more like a foliage species than a traditional epiphytic orchid.
